Julia Moritz and Juro Grau use
for their unique works and small series materials from the highest quality
cashmere, alpaca, angora, mohair, camel hair and linen. Their selection
of materials is based especially on the good tradition approved beyond
centuries in Northern Italy. They are mainly working with draperies
from the world`s leading cashmere weaving mills Luigi Colombo. Inspired
by the individual draperies there arise drawings, sketches and figures
transferred on the draperies with finest handmade embroideries. Thus
an aesthetic ensemble is developed between form and content. |
